Reckitt Benckiser started up a Facebook group where consumers could vote to save one of their favourite ad characters.
The problem: while that platform was open they sacked a bunch of people. The FB group got major bad vibe.
That's sort of like #qantasluxury.
I suppose if you're going to invite your customers in to say nice things about you they'd better be in the mood for it. Or you have a whole new set of problems in how you deal with it.
