A decision: kill it or decide to make it work

Somebody wrote into Seth Godin, compliment him on his book "The Dip".

And the message of the book is that every quest experiences a dip. The dip is designed to sort the average performers out from the truly excellent.

And the personal message is that you've taken something on and are in a lull, it's decision time. Kill the project and find one where you will make it through the dip, or push through this one.

The guy who sent this chart into Seth apparently decided to push through. That's one way, but another is to put the dying animal out of its misery.
