Leatherbound 32: A Vietnamese customer of mine on how to play with honour

Back in 1999 I had a customer who was Vietnemese - he was very polite but once or twice when I tested him, I found this steely toughness behind his gentle manner. We got onto very good terms once the boundaries were set. Essentially him making sure I was in my place.

Soon after the customer simply left us, got a way better deal from some other competitor that my company couldn't get anywhere near. But this guy conducted himself with the greatest decorum.

I would recommend Chun Mei noodles to anyone.
